Hi! I am Kaspars Ciematnieks - a photographer whose roots and greatest inspiration are found in Latgale, specifically near Ludza. Photography has been in my life for over 15 years, and during this time I have realized one thing: I am most captivated not by perfectly staged shots, but by authenticity - in the silence of the region, the changing nature, and human emotions.

My creative base is Latgale, but I happily go wherever my client is. Whether it's a wedding near Riga, an event in Rēzekne, or an individual photo session in Daugavpils - I am on my way to create something lasting together.

My Approach

It all started with a simple Nikon camera and curiosity, which over the years has grown into a professional approach. When working with a client, I focus on three things: emotions, natural light, and visual clarity. So that the photograph does not lose its value even after decades.

Regardless of whether I am photographing the whirlwind of wedding emotions or a quiet baptism moment, my goal is to create a photograph that allows you to return to the feeling that was present at the moment of capturing.
